Individual Therapy for Adults

Individual therapy is well-suited for anyone seeking deeper exploration of their psyche or a space to unburden themselves. It can greatly benefit those experiencing anxiety, depression, body image concerns, grief, relationship issues, high stress, life transitions, and/or unhealthy self-esteem.

Therapy usually begins with getting to know each other, gathering history, assessing needs, and determining therapeutic goals. We may start treatment by developing coping tools for managing present distress before transitioning to more insight-based work. This approach makes the type of therapy I offer integrative and holistic, recognizing the multifaceted nature of concerns.

No two treatment plans look the same. I will carefully listen to you and your needs, and together, we will determine the best evidence-based course of action to achieve your goals.

Common theoretical frameworks I draw from include psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques.
